About Me

Hi, I'm Brenda Harralson, founder of Focus First Solutions.

I help organizations turn complexity into clarity.

Whether it's onboarding new employees, introducing AI, implementing new systems, or navigating change, I design learning experiences that help people understand what matters, build confidence, and apply what they've learned in the real world.

For more than 30 years, I've worked at the intersection of learning, technology, and organizational change. My experience spans instructional design, training strategy, facilitation, knowledge management, and performance improvement across corporate, nonprofit, and public sector environments.

Most recently, I've supported the Texas Education Agency in developing AI learning and staff enablement strategies, helping shape practical approaches to AI adoption, workforce capability, and organizational learning. At the same time, I'm pursuing certification as a Special Education and Middle School English Language Arts teacher and preparing to serve students in Round Rock ISD. Bringing together adult learning, instructional design, and classroom teaching allows me to better support learners at every stage of life.

Clients often tell me I bring calm to complicated situations. I ask thoughtful questions, organize information into practical solutions, and design learning that respects people's time while helping them do their jobs with confidence.

I believe great training isn't about delivering more information—it's about reducing uncertainty.

When people understand what's expected, have the right tools, and can see how their work fits into the bigger picture, they perform better, adapt faster, and experience less unnecessary stress. That philosophy shapes every project I lead.

Outside of work, I'm a mom, mentor, volunteer, lifelong learner, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people find clarity during times of transition. I volunteer with Hire Heroes USA, supporting veterans and military spouses as they navigate career transitions, and with organizations that strengthen mental health and animal welfare in my community.
