I'm Brenda Harralson, Certified Master Professional Coach, and I'm dedicated to helping single parents find their purpose and live the life they're meant to live.
I’ve spent my career training and coaching adult learners. After earning my Masters in Adult Education and Organizational Learning, I spent two decades in the field of learning and development, building education programs and leading trainers.
My career experience includes designing and delivering training and organizational development programs to large and medium corporations as well as startups, in both physical and virtual workplaces. During this time, I discovered my innermost talents and strengths, and sought opportunities to put them to use.
I am drawn to and thrive in challenging situations. I love being creative and resourceful in an effort to bring order to chaos, close gaps in relationships and knowledge, and provide solutions to pain points.
When conflict has been the source of a challenge, my natural empathy enables me to sense the emotions of others and to understand their point of view, helping to resolve the conflict more quickly. I have a knack for being able to put into words the feelings and questions of those who are struggling to express themselves and have helped bridge communication gaps in systems inside and outside the workplace.
I am dedicated to building connections that bring people closer together and providing them with access to the resources they need. My mission is to inspire others to reach their highest potential and to achieve things that they never thought possible.
As a leader in the workplace as well as in my household, I show up as a compassionate developer whose purpose is to help others reach their goals and experience success. I love being a cheerleader to my clients as well as my family and friends, celebrating each milestone they achieve.
My experience as a single parent started 10 years ago, not by choice, and it was full of taking risks, making mistakes, and learning painful lessons in nearly all aspects of my life. Through my partnership with a coach who helped me systematize and prioritize the overwhelming number of responsibilities in my life, I overcame the sense that I had failed in my role as a single parent and began to see the world differently, through a lens of hope, optimism, and gratitude. Perhaps, most importantly, I realized I was not alone as my eyes were opened to the vast number of resources and connections available to me. I didn't have to go through life alone.
Today I have two teenagers, a greater sense of autonomy and balance, and a passion for helping others. This experience, along with my passion for serving others who are experiencing similar struggles, has equipped and compelled me to develop a unique focus on coaching other single parents.
You are not alone, and together we can create a plan to give you back control of your life.
